Boiling Category

Boiling is the process where a liquid changes to vapor when its temperature reaches the boiling point, typically 100degC (212degF) at standard atmospheric pressure. This phase transition results from vapor pressure within the liquid equaling the external atmospheric pressure. Boiling is a key method for sterilization, cooking, and industrial applications. The formation of vapor bubbles throughout the liquid distinguishes boiling from simple evaporation.
